This FAQ is meant to answer questions not addressed in our and to not put the emotional burden on our staff; they have been incredibly supportive of our decision and we invite you to share a word of thanks with them as able.
When will Dulceria close its doors?
We will hold our last day in business on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 9 am – 12 pm.
As it is tradition in Dulceria, we will be hosting a Dulceria Farewell Party during that time to thank each and all of you for your support.
Will the store be open regular business hours until closing?
Yes, our business hours will remain the same from Feb 12 – 21 as follows:
Wed – Fri: 7 am – 2 pm
Sat & Sun: 8 am – 2 pm
Will you still offer a full menu until closing?
Yes, we will be baking all your favorite pan dulce, brewing your favorite cafecito by City Girl Cafe, and serving our lunch menu until our last day in business.
I have a Dulceria gift certificate, can I still use it?
All Dulceria gift certificates can be used in our store or towards orders through Friday, February 21, 2020, whether it is for pan dulce, lunch offerings, or custom orders*
*Cake orders are available only for Feb 19, 20, and 21.
When will Dulceria’s Farewell Party be held?
Will Dulceria still offer cakes, catering or pop ups?
No, we will be taking the time needed to heal, recover, and discover what our next aventuras will be. We appreciate your support for our decision.
What is next for your staff?
We are offering support as it best works for each one of our team members’ needs, from recommendation letters, to referrals, connecting them with job leads, conducting mock interviews, and providing flexibility in their schedules so they can attend job interviews.
In addition, we are nourishing them with yummy meals…because love is our love language.
We encourage you to stop by and share a word of thanks to them; they are being so supportive and we know your support will be much appreciated!
