Allergies, Cultural, FAITH-BASED & VALUES-BASED DIETARY NEEDS 

Do you offer gluten-free and vegan products? 

Yes! A number of our menu items are available in gluten-free and vegan versions – marked with GF and V in our menu and website – including our artisanal conchas, alegrias, mango toasted coconut bars, cakes & cupcakes!

Are your products nut-free ?

While few of our baked items contain nuts, we cannot guarantee  a nut-free environment. 

*If you have any other allergies or dietary needs, let us know so we can discuss if we can offer you a safe and delicious order. Allergens present in our facilities include almonds, coconut, eggs, dairy, soy, and wheat.

Do you use any pork products? If so, how do you avoid cross-contamination?

Polvorones, Rosquitas and our Abuelita’s Pies, include lard; hence, we have a set of baking utensils and equipment that we use solely for them (including mixing bowls, spatulas, baking trays, packaging, etc) and practice sanitation techniques that avoid cross contamination (separate storage for lard, sanitation of stations, etc).

FONDANT

Do you make fondant covered cakes/cupcakes/cake pops?

We do not offer fondant covered cakes; however, we do offer fondant accents and will work with you to create buttercream and other edible finishes and decorations that are both beautiful and tasty.

LOCATION

Do you have a storefront?

We will open our storefront in August 2018!  After a year of selling at farmers markets and pop-up events, we have found a space in the Standish neighborhood .

In the meantime, you will find us at farmer markets,  pop-up shops  and community events during the year as listed in our Facebook page

ORDER

How far in advance should I order?

We recommend you order 72 hours – 1 month month in advance for larger events & weekends by completing our Order Form.

Do you require a deposit for my order?

All custom orders must be paid 48 hours before pickup. Wedding,  Quinceañeras, and orders above $100 require a deposit  of 15%  or $50 (whichever is larger) once the order is placed. Final payment is due 1 week before the event date.

Payment

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, and checks (on a case by case basis).

PickUp/Delivery/MAIL

Can I pick up or request delivery for my order?

Pickup is available from our home in South Minneapolis and delivery is available for a fee within the Twin Cities.

Can you mail orders?

We are not allowed to ship orders either in or out of state per MN Cottage Food Law.
