Do you offer gluten-free and vegan products? 

Yes! A number of our menu items are available in gluten-free and vegan versions – marked with GF and V in our menu and website – including our artisanal conchas, alegrias, garibaldis, and mango toasted coconut bars.

Are your products nut-free ?

While few of our baked items contain nuts and we prepare them in a separate area of our kitchen with separate equipment, we cannot guarantee  a nut-free environment. 

*If you have any other allergies or dietary needs, let us know so we can discuss if we can offer you a safe and delicious order. Allergens present in our facilities include almonds, coconut, eggs, dairy, soy, and wheat.

Do you use any pork products? If so, how do you avoid cross-contamination?

Polvorones and Rosquitas, two of our artisanal Mexican pastries, include lard; hence, we have a set of baking utensils and equipment that we use solely for them (including mixing bowls, spatulas, baking trays, packaging, etc) and practice sanitation techniques that avoid cross contamination (separate storage for lard, sanitation of stations, etc).

Do you make fondant covered cakes/cupcakes/cake pops?

We do not offer fondant covered cakes; however, we do offer fondant accents and will work with you to create buttercream and other edible finishes and decorations that are both beautiful and tasty.


Do you have liability insurance?

Yes! We carry a standard liability insurance policy and we will gladly provide a copy of it to your event’s venue to ensure we can move ahead with your event’s order.


Do you have a storefront?

Not yet, but we are working on it! Order your favorite pan dulce and desserts by completing the ORDER FORM  and pick up  your pastries at our home in South Minneapolis or request us to deliver them for a small fee.

You will also find us at farmer markets,  pop-up shops  and community events during the year as listed in our Facebook page


How far in advance should I submit my order?

It varies a little depending on the season, our availability, type and size of your order; recommended notice:

48 – 72 hours: Signature cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and Mexican pastries

72 hours -2 weeks: Custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops

*If you need an order sooner than in the listed guidelines, please email us at dulce@dulceriabakery.com as we may have availability

Do you require a deposit for my order?

All custom orders as well as orders above $100 require a 50% deposit once the order is placed. Final payment is due 24 hours before the order is fulfilled.


What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, and checks (on a case by case basis).


Can I pick up or request delivery for my order?

FREE delivery is available within 2 miles from the Standish neighborhood in South Minneapolis for orders starting at $50.

We’ll gladly provide you a quote for delivery to addresses within Minneapolis, Saint Paul and the Twin Cities.

You may select to pick up your order at our address.

Mon – Fri: 10 am – 7 pm
Sat & Sun: 10 am – 6 pm

*Let us know if your special event requires flexible pick-up and delivery hours. Hours are subject to change based on delivery volume and during holidays

Can you mail orders?

We are not allowed to ship orders either in or out of state per MN Cottage Food Law.
